Help send the Coro Pittsburgh Fellows to D.C. to consult elected officials and policy experts on after-school education

Help send Manjot & the Coro Fellows to Washington, D.C.! A Project of Coro Fellows

As a part of the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, the 2016-2017 cohort is working with Homewood Children's Village. For the past 8 months, we have been specifically working with the Scholar Project at Westinghouse High School. The Scholar Project is an after-school program that focuses on getting students through high school graduation, promoting a college-going culture, and empowering students to act as agents of community change.

We (the fellows) are traveling to Washington D.C. April 26th - 28th to interview policy experts and elected officials who focus on issues related to the Scholars Project, particularly people who have a vested interest and involvement with education policy.

We plan to use the knowledge gathered during our time in DC to see how it can be used to help make the work we are doing more impactful and sustainable here in Pittsburgh.

Also, we're really cool people.
